Koi Fish Painting Complete
Upon completion of Randy's koi fish piece entitled "Marriage", it was time to move into a larger space. Now with much more room for wood working and framing, as well as a more open setup for painting, Randy finds freedom and excitement in creating his next piece entitled "Mana". In the Hawaiian dictionary, Mana is translated as "authority", "power" or "might". Power is the most popular use of the word, but this word can also mean the branch or limb of a tree. Collectors of Randy's work will be delighted to see how the artist incorporates "Mana" into a truly impacting piece for the islands of Hawaii.
Original works are available as well as Limited Edition canvas giclee prints. We are happy to offer various print sizes and for a limited time, shipping is free. Original paintings by Randy Dahl are unique in that each piece is framed by the artist using various types of wood found here in Hawaii. A great deal of time and energy is put into finding and choosing logs and materials. It is of the utmost importance that the frame become part of the painting, so as to be a complete work of art.

Lokelani
Randy's other half, Lokelani is keeping busy performing with Island Breeze Productions. Currently involved in two ongoing shows, "Aloha 'Aina" at the King Kamahamaha Hotel and "The Gathering of the Kings" taking place at the Fairmont Orchid Resort. Each show is unique in its design. The first is a more "traditional" luau show on the beach in Kailua-Kona. The second is a theatrical and cultural experience including traditional Polynesian dance as well as modern dance and acrobatics.
When she is not dancing, Lokelani enjoyes helping folks relax with lomilomi (massage). If you would like to receive a massage while in the Kailua-Kona area, please call for an appointment.
